An entry on judo... *can hear the judoka cheering* Actually, i didn't do much today, just break falls. Back, right, left, and front. Don't look down on there break falls, okie? These same break falls are causing my hands to swell and my arms to bruise. Ouch, ouch, ouch... Really thats all i did today at judo and i'm kinda worn out. Must seriously get back to regular sleeping hours.
First, met Jiaying to grab a bite (or desert, actually). And we sat down and talked, and talked, and talked, till we got interrupted by two girl from SYFC a.k.a. Singapore Youth For Christ. Felt a little cornered by them, and we left food junction to go to the club rooms. Thing is, Joseph offered to meet me at the shopping arcade so we waited from a far away distance. Wahahaha. Then we saw him and his friend, and was like, "His friend very cute" and decided to get a closer view. She (did i mention the friend was a she? guess i didn't =P) came out of the toliet and we said hi (duh!) and stood there looking at each other (and also waiting for Joseph to do introductions la). But he didn't and we had to intro ourselves (so un-gentlemanly =X). And when she left, Jiaying and me were like, "She's soooooo chio!!" *rolling on the floor with laughter*
Went to the dojo early with Joseph (the first voice i heard outside the dojo was Wanshi's voice. wahahaha). Wanshi lead me and another girl in warm ups and started to teach us break fall (back). And then it turns out... *pause* the other girl's already a white belt. Lol..
A guy came in later, Wei Min. Then later on, Leo took over the teaching of us (the guy and me oni) for break falls. Was kinda stiff in the begining which lead some back aches. But soon got the hang of it. Started out with lying down, squating and finally standing. Moved on to right break falls. Wah, my hands were already hurting by then, but still tolerable. By the time we started on left (which is the same a right break fall, just not right =P), i was like "I can't feel my arms anymore". And the 30 times arm hitting the mat was like, oww, oww, oww, oww, oww, oww, oww,... Wonder how am i gonna survive 50 times or even 100. Have a long way to go... Font was better, just that the pain shot up my elbows and shoulders in the begining. And it really is the louder the sound, the less painful it is (exclude the palm and arm please).
Eyes are burning now. But not gonna sleep yet. Judo's fun (at this point of time) and i need tons of practice =X
PS: We(ms01) are great. =)
