Still on the topic of the chalet...
One sentence i'll remember:
"I'm not drunk." Eoin and Gen.
Since they really insisted and could walk perfectly in a straight line, you got to believe them. Still, those out-of-the-blue i-feel-amused laughter
without any reason were enough. Eoin, i think just does not have a high alcohol tolerance. Gen, however, had THREE (or was it four?) cups of vodka. Since the mix was half a cup of absolut vodka with sprite/ orange juice, she had downed about 2 cups of vodka? And oh, did i mention that absolut vodka had a 40% alcohol composition?
One bicycle i'll remember:
Kel's smaller blue bicycle.
The brakes are almost non-existent and the sit jerks up painfully. Thank goodness i'm not a guy. I pity Matt. =P
One pool moment i'll remember:
David
When Ila, Manda, Pei Ting and me were like forced into conversation with this important sounding guy (won't mention his full name in case he googles his name or something). And he told us that we could be his daughters T_T. Sugar daddy? Just kidding. But seriously, we were wondering when would he just leave us to our suntanning devices. Matt should have went with us. Heh heh.
One night i'll remember:
The last night when all remaining 12 of us squeezed in a room with 6 beds.
We chatted and joked and time just refused to move. Almost like we were in another dimension as Manda said. It was also the night when Shafinah and me went to the hall to sleep instead 'cause we couldn't sleep in the room. Call it brave or foolish. If i weren't so tired at that point of time, it might have occuried to my brain that it was almost 5am in the morning. Where
all other 10 people in the chalet were in the room we just left. And there's
no one else about. Don't forget the looming frangipani tree is just outside the window. Wide open windows without the curtains drawn. You get the point.
One scary moment i'll remember:
When Manda couldn't see well after the swim.
Bet you were thinking
scary as in saw something i wasn't supposed to see and i peed in my pants scary. Kinda reminded me of the times i saw double. It's like you're wondering
what's wrong with my body?One heart-stopping moment i'll remember:
When i was going to crash in to Kel or the wall beside him.
The sitiuation was that Kel and i had just been to Changi Village and bought three 1.5l of mineral water. On the way back, the thinner-than-paper Cheers plastic bag gave way. Kel braked. And i, cycling behind him, was using the one bicycle i'll remember (read above). You should have ken by now that i wanted to brake but
couldn't. By chance or skill, or a mixture of both, i avoided Kel, scraped the wall, and finally stopped a good distance away.
Well, that's all i can remember for now. Maybe i'll edit if i remember some more. =]
